Inquiry on Perceptions and Practices of Built Environment Professionals Regarding Regenerative and Circular Approaches

The circular economy and regenerative design approaches, although still emerging in the built environment, are important pathways to move away from degenerative business-as-usual practices sector. In this paper, we investigate perception, awareness, of environment professionals regarding adoption a combined circularity approach for buildings cities, if current ‘neighbourhood sustainability assessment’ (NSA) tools should be improved how. inquiry was conducted using convergent mixed methods with around globe through: (a) online questionnaires which collected 146 responses, (b) 18 semi-structured interviews delved further into relevant aspects survey. Quantitative qualitative responses were coded, grouped, analysed.
